Language skills are key to successful labor migration. Therefore, Kiron supports learners across the globe on their labor mobility pathway by providing access to free language training in collaboration with IOM, Lingoda, TBB and additional partners.

Through a range of projects, more than 200 participants have already been enrolled in language courses in Colombia, Guatemala, Germany, Lebanon and Romania.

One example of how we support learners on their labor mobility journey – through language training and beyond – is the PAVE project. PAVE stands for Pathways to Apprenticeships and Vocational Education and is an initiative that opens pathways for young people in Colombia to begin vocational training in Germany.

This project is a collaboration between IOM, Lingoda and Kiron. We support the implementation of the language course component.

Want to welcome motivated, well-prepared nursing apprentices?

We are currently seeking employers across Germany to welcome the program's first cohort of apprentices, starting their nursing training (Pflegeausbildung) in August/September 2027. Employers interested in joining this pilot cohort are invited to get in touch to learn more about eligibility, timelines, and next steps.

Germany

Within Kiron’s THRIVE program, more than 30 selected learners were supported to access German and English language courses. THRIVE learners are already located in Germany, and language proficiency is a key factor for strengthening their employability and access to qualified jobs.

Lebanon

In partnership with Talent Beyond Boundaries, Kiron supports 20 Palestinian nurses in Lebanon by enabling access to free German language courses as part of their preparation for labor migration pathways to Germany.
