Since 2023, THRIVE has supported 1,150+ refugee and migrant women in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) to strengthen their digital skills and start meaningful careers.

Women with refugee and migration experience remain underrepresented in the workforce, despite being highly educated and motivated. 89% of THRIVE participants hold a degree and 60% are actively looking for work in the tech industry, demonstrating their untapped potential.

THRIVE is a free, 6-month program which includes:
A choice of professional pathways, tailored to labor market trends
Digital, self-paced learning on Kiron Campus
Language and communication courses for the workplace
Live workshops and job-readiness training
Small group tutoring and 1:1 career coaching with professional mentors
Motivated, supportive alumni network & recruitment opportunities
The challenge
Why THRIVE, why now
Talent is not the problem – access is. Women with migration and refugee backgrounds face structural barriers to employment in the European labor market. After nine years, only 35% of refugee women were employed in 2025, compared with 76% of men. In the tech sector, the gender gap is wider still, with only 17% of employees at German tech companies being women.
THRIVE is designed to close this gap and we invite partners to join us in opening more pathways to work.
