Unlocking potential and transforming lives with THRIVE
Since 2023, THRIVE has offered curated learning pathways that prepare participants for real jobs. The multi-month holistic program includes:
Digital, self-paced learning on Kiron Campus
Language and communication courses for the workplace
Live workshops and job-readiness training
Small group tutoring and 1:1 career coaching with professional mentors
Motivated, supportive alumni network & recruitment opportunities
Demonstrated impact
Women with (forced) migration experience remain underrepresented in the workforce, despite being highly educated and motivated. 80% of THRIVE participants hold a degree and 60% are actively looking for work in the tech industry, demonstrating their untapped potential.

The challenge
Facing complex hurdles
Women with migration and refugee backgrounds face overlapping challenges in accessing the German labor market. Despite resilience and qualifications, an average of just 29% refugee and migrant women find employment after seven years, compared to 75% of men. In the tech sector, the gender gap is wider still, with only 17% of employees at German startups being women.

Highly educated, highly motivated
THRIVE participants are motivated to overcome the barriers they face. With their determination and ambition, and the support of our partners, learners gain the tools and networks to kickstart their careers. In the most recent program cycle, 250 women from more than 45 countries were selected out of over 1,500 applications.
