The challenge

Why THRIVE, why now

Talent is not the problem – access is. Women with migration and refugee backgrounds face structural barriers to employment in the European labor market. After nine years, only 35% of refugee women were employed in 2025, compared with 76% of men. In the tech sector, the gender gap is wider still, with only 17% of employees at German tech companies being women
THRIVE is designed to close this gap and we invite partners to join us in opening more pathways to work.

What our graduates say

THRIVE learners graduate with new skills, confidence, and connections

Back in February 2025, I could never have imagined that, just eight months later, I would have mastered AI development and secured an internship as an AI and full-stack developer at one of the world’s largest banks, UBS.
Alina

THRIVE is great! I got the opportunity to get more into IT with current topics and tools. Moreover, it is excellent to share experiences with other women and professionals and to get information about the job market.

Completing THRIVE gave me not only knowledge and practical skills but also the confidence that I can achieve my professional goals here in Germany.
