Angelika holds a bachelor’s degree in music and brings over 14 years of experience as the founder and owner of an event agency in Ukraine. She has successfully led the planning and execution of large-scale corporate events, festivals, and cultural programs. Following her relocation to Germany, she is pursuing opportunities to continue her career in event management, either as an entrepreneur or within a professional events team. Her work focuses on designing creative, high-impact public events, particularly family-oriented and cultural programming.

Anna holds a master’s degree in business law from Ukraine and has over 10 years of experience in executive roles across business development and strategic growth in B2C sectors. Her career combines legal expertise with leadership in expanding and managing business operations. She is currently focusing on roles at the intersection of law, integration, and social impact, with the goal of strengthening her management and business development capabilities. In her free time, she enjoys writing and she's working on her first book.

Anton is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business informatics at the Technical Unviersity Berlin, where he specializes in data analysis, modeling, and software development. He has applied his technical skills in C# to develop user interfaces for AR and XR applications and is particularly interested in software architecture and data engineering. Since July 2025, he has been employed as a working student at Mercedes-Benz AG, gaining hands-on industry experience. His goal is to contribute to the development of impactful, data-driven commercial products.

Fatima has an academic background in social sciences. After being forcibly displaced from Türkiye and moving to Berlin, she transitioned into the technology sector, building foundational skills in data science and applied AI through self-directed learning. She is now focused on pursuing an academic pathway in applied AI while continuing to expand her technical expertise. Her long-term goal is to establish a career in data science with a strong research component.

Hafsa studied law in Türkiye and worked as a lawyer for several years before migrating to Germany and transitioning into working in career counselling services. She is especially motivated by working directly with migrants like herself and offering practical support in their daily lives. She joined Kiron's NextGen Leaders with the aim to continue her career in the field of counseling and advisory services. In the spring of 2026, she started a new role as a Job Coach at agens Arbeitsmarktservice gGmbH.

Kristina holds a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications. She built her early career as a journalist in Ukraine and later worked at the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, contributing to projects at the intersection of communication, diplomacy, and memory politics. While working at the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture, she completed her graduate studies, strengthening her expertise in public affairs. She is now preparing to pursue a second master’s degree in international relations in Germany to advance her career in diplomacy.

Etka holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Türkiye and has developed a multidisciplinary profile combining creative and technical skills. Through self-study, he has gained practical experience in web development, cloud technologies, and data processing. He currently works as a freelance web developer, applying his skills to real-world projects. His career focus is on building accessible digital solutions that address social issues and create meaningful impact.

Melike holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Istanbul University and has built a career in process optimization, quality management, and internal auditing. She brings international professional experience from both Türkiye and Germany, along with strong analytical and systems expertise, particularly in SAP and ERP environments. Her work focuses on improving operational efficiency and quality standards. She is currently seeking a role in quality management, supply chain, or operations to further develop her expertise.

Olha holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) and has also completed a medical residency program in Ukraine, reflecting a diverse academic background. She has recently expanded her professional focus by completing specialized training in emotional development, biodynamic breathing, and body-based therapeutic techniques. Building on this transition, she is developing a career in coaching and holistic well-being practices. She recently launched a business working as a life coach, supporting personal development and resilience.

Originally from Afghanistan, Omid migrated to Germany with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and has over four years of experience in engineering. While his qualifications were officially recognized in Germany, he chose to transition toward a more impact-driven career in the humanitarian sector. After completing the NextGen program, he founded the nonprofit EU HOPE e.V. to advance human rights and inclusion for refugees, migrants, and other minority groups. He also currently works with HÁWAR.help as a project assistant and with ICAN as a project collaborator.

After relocating from Ukraine to Germany, Ostap rapidly integrated and acquired German, enabling him to pursue his Abitur qualification. As a first-generation student from a non-academic background, he has developed a strong interest in international education policy and access. His long-term goal is to study at Harvard and to establish an international foundation supporting first-generation prospective students in gaining admission to top-tier institutions.

Sadaf Kar Gar is originally from Afghanistan and has been living in Berlin for over three years. While obtaining her business degree, she worked at SARCHINA Consultancy Services Organisation as an admin, HR, and finance officer. After graduating, she joined Save the Children International as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. Since 2023, Sadaf has been working as a trainee at CARAID SE, a VW software company, first in finance and later supporting project teams as a Scrum Master. She is currently looking for a position in finance or project management where she can actively apply her experience.

Originally from Türkiye, Servet holds a PhD in philosophy and has an academic background in education, equipping him with strong analytical and pedagogical skills. After relocating to Germany, he made a strategic career transition into technology by completing training in web and software development. He has since gained practical experience in the field and is currently working as a software developer. His focus is on continuing to grow his technical expertise while applying structured problem-solving skills from his academic background.

Sezai holds both an LLB and LLM from the Netherlands, specializing in European law, data protection, and intellectual property. He expanded his profile into technology and entrepreneurship by founding a startup supported by Berlin Science & Startups, where he developed expertise in agile project management and digital tools. With technical skills in JavaScript, Python, and SQL, he bridges legal and tech domains. After joining NextGen, he secured a full-time role as a consultant at Capgemini Invent.

Shavi completed his secondary education in Iran and later trained as a nursing professional in Berlin. He is currently studying biosciences at the University of Potsdam. Alongside his studies, he has been actively involved for several years in youth support, cultural education, and community-based projects with a focus on political participation and social inclusion. He is particularly committed to working with young people with refugee backgrounds and fostering dialogue across communities. In the future, he aims to further develop his career in education and project work, with a focus on social justice and empowerment.

Shreya holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and a postgraduate diploma in management in marketing, and is certified as a PMP and Scrum Master (PSM I). She has led international IT and business transformation projects with budgets of up to 14.5 million USD across consulting and technology sectors. Currently working at Kiron as a project management tutor for our THRIVE learners, she specializes in delivering complex projects through structured processes and strong communication. She is aiming for leadership roles in project and operations management within purpose-driven organizations.

Nimi holds a master’s degree in Integrated Natural Resource Management from Humboldt University in Berlin and has built experience in research, stakeholder engagement, and project facilitation. She contributed to the EU-funded VISIONARY project at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research. Since graduating from NextGen in 2025, she has been working as a Business Development Specialist at Copernicus.org and became President of Nigerian Scholars in Germany (NiSIG e.V.) in 2026. Her work focuses on sustainable development, consulting, and international collaboration.

Veronika has a professional background in social work, with several years of experience supporting children, youth, and refugee communities. Since relocating from Ukraine to Berlin in 2022, she has further developed her expertise through professional roles and volunteer engagement. Her work focuses on social inclusion, family support, and equal opportunities. She aims to take on long-term leadership roles in social organizations and contribute to innovative integration projects.

Eliz holds a master’s degree in architecture and worked as a lead architect in Ukraine, managing complex design and planning projects. She is currently training as a construction manager in Germany to deepen her expertise in construction processes, contract law, and project management. In 2025, she founded Ukraine City Lab, an initiative focused on urban development and reconstruction. Her long-term goal is to lead large-scale international construction projects and contribute to Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts.
